This is our Science Olympiad mousetrap vehicle. All power is supplied by 2 normal mousetraps. It had to travel 7 meters then reverse and return as near as possible to the starting point.

    Actually we used some form of plumbing plug. We spent tons of time at the hardware store looking for parts. I'm hours upon hours, the employees knew us by name. lol

  • I tried building one with 2 mousetraps and then Doc Fizzix pointed out his article on reverse winding. It works well with a standard mousetrap car. Bill Kuhl

  • @DaMan478 thanks for replying. i done with science olympiad now tho. got a 58/60 on going forward 3 meters and 58/60 with going forward 3 meters and then back 7 meters
