We do need to cut spending some but don't crap all over programs that are necessary. Cut the salary of the congress, judicial, and executive branch employees as well as representatives and senators. And don't dick with the bill of rights as we don't need the kind of gun control you all are speaking of, we need to keep them from those that are mentally unbalanced, not screw over mentally well law-abiding citizens.

New's papers publishing online the names and residences of Gun Owner's does not correlate with gun violence...believing so is illogical. If this is acceptable per those advocating gun control then I've little faith that less violence will be a result of increased control if these are the kind of prideful exploitation of privacy that has ignited more desires to expose and ignite unrest

Beautifully said RegdarKhrast... Pelosi should be saying "Deficit Reduction is the Mission That We Are On." Unless she has already forgotten about that.  And since virtually everyone got taxes raised on them and there were no cuts in spending...and we be sure that this time round that actually happens. Even though it was to be part of the negotiation anyway. We can't keep putting off dealing with that big ol number that would take someone more than a lifetime to count to.
