If everyone just refused to buy cage eggs then there could be a wiping out of caged hens and also demand that all food manufacturers do the same.

It's pathetic how these people are still allowed to treat hens like this, how is this even legal? It maybe cheaper for the companies, but think about it. We have feelings, don't we? Some people don't realize that. Let's stuff them in a cage that's way too small for them, and see how they like it. Animals lives don't have any less value than ours.

Thank God the RSPCA care about ALL animals because our government does'nt. WHY are animals used for meat, eggs and milk NOT protected by the same animal cruelty laws as other animals such as wildlife and pets? When will these barbaric practices stop? It seems the pursuit of profit is the powerful motivator in this madness!
