If I close my eyes, I'm setting at the VFW in Ashville, PA and its 1964. The Grange co-op had the best year in the last 25 and all the farmers, including my dad and uncles made a lot of money from Snyder of Berlin. ALLLL my family are singing and dancing to songs like this.

my last comment was true, but I just want to amend... Hank had enormous talent, but the passion and depth of his singing makes it last over time enough so that I care to comment precisely. His humanity, faults and qualities are so human that it implores me to comment correctly. I'm a Hank Williams fan and he has touched my life.

hank had talent..he could sing fairly well, but the depth of his singing makes him last... We can't compare to today's sound. (but passion wise, be kicks everyone ass in this era)
