The Iwe'Fa is a cleansing ceremonial rite often performed during Odun Ifa ceremony and should be accompanied by song and dance. The "performers" recorded here are a group of Babalawo from the Ijebu area of Nigeria, W. Africa and the Oluwo of that town, his children and several Apetebi (wives of Babalawo) who must participate during the festive rites.
