Thanks for all the comments. I never expected so many views and comments on this video. Although I'm not a big fan of Chandni Shah as a poet or songwriter, I think she was probably the only female poet of our mother's generation who wrote about the life and pains of other woman of her generation no matter how mundane or male dominated it was. Of course I'm not including Parijaat here, her being more of a story/novel writer. There is simply no comparison between Parijaat and Chandni Shah.
