Yea no offense, but you wasted your money on an extra 8800 GTX. Not having both CPU and GPU (mobo to an extent) around the same level brings both down. A 2.9 duo, even at the time would be fine for a single 8/9800 or SLi 8/9600s.
Also I'm confused as to why you don't have the same types of RAM in the proper slots. I'm not sure what you have there but DIMM slots 0 and 2 should be the same and 1 and 3.
What people are saying is: Alienware = computer + extra money. Basically the Apple of PCs.

Just so people know I got this PC at base model for £400 then upgraded alot had it now 3 yr and cant see the benefit in going i7 yet this PC still kits ass.

Not my first choice for colour and 1 half years ago this was one of the most powerful PC, do some research and you will find test charts showing the combination of this setup makes for a great PC, i am removing your comment as it is offensive to others.THINK BEFORE YOU TYPE
