I Am Sitting In A Room

I'm an audio production student at AILA, and in my listening and analysis class our teacher had us listen to the entire 45 minute piece titled "I Am Sitting In A Room" by Alvin Lucier. I was one of the few kids who didn't fall asleep. I was completely blown away, so I had to try it too.
What he he did, and what I did to a much less fancy extent, was record a speech, the play it back into a room and re-record it. I believe he did his 32 times, mine was only done 15 times, and due to youtube time/size constraints I only show the first and last take.
The speech is Alvin Lucier's too.

Nice. I love this experiment, or even these kind of experiments, for the matter. Some other dude is trying the same, with both audio and video, so it'll be interesting to see what happens. He's up to the 1000th right now. Probably just this harmonic kind of sound and a brownish/blank video.

Anyways, loved your experiment. And it only took 15 times to get to this point? Maybe I'll try this then, if the results are this immediate.

Yeah it only took 15 times because I have a very open living room with a loft, so there's just tons of reflections and reverb.
