I dont think that its wrong for people in Jail to get healthcare.i think everyone living should have access to free quality healthcare. i do think that it is unfair and pretty ironic that they get it for free.however by saying that im not implying that they should have to pay for the healthcare that they are receiving for free.i think that EVERYONE should have the right to free quality healthcare when they are ill and before they become ill.& its really mess up that people with big $ don't agree

they're both human.

I agree with nvncyble: To deny healthcare to anybody is inhumane. Let's not think selfishly. We have to be sympathetic about these things. Noone's exempt from jailtime. If we were the ones in jail, we would want to be seen by a doctor should anything happen to us.

It is unethical for them not to receive health care but shouldn't they be charged for it like the next person being treated without insurance? Is it too far fetched to have cons pay for their treatment upon release or with the wages from the work that yoboipat mentioned. You're so right, taxpayers funding the rootcanals of their children's killers is just madness! Kudos on the topic...i like the channel already

excellent point. ppl who cant afford health care should be given free health care period. i shouldnt b slapped with a large bill that i apparently cant afford just because i follow the law. they should at the very least be charged also.

It's true they do receive free health care. BUT...I worked at a prison for 3 years but it's definitely not worth it to get health care. They don't get the best either,.
