Yochanan, you say that because ther is evil in the world there is no God, because how could an omnipotent loving God create evil? Well God didn't create evil. Just like how there is no true thing as cold because it is the absence of heat and how darkness is just the absence of light, there is no true thing evil. You can't measure cold or darkness, they're just the absence of heat and light. Evil is the absence of allowing God's love in your heart.

And we chose not to love him, and that was the beginning of mans demise. But thank God that He is faithful though we are not. Thank God for Jesus. Great is His faithfulness. I hope many of you who don't believe will come to know the faithfulness of the all powerful yet all loving God. Whether you accept or believe you are loved by God is up to you. God did not create evil. He allowed us to be able to choose to either love him or to not love him because a love that is forced is no love at all. And once we chose not to love God we chose to allow evil to exist. Since one could conceive that darkness is not it's own entity but rather the absence of light, one should also be able to conceive that sin and evil are the absence of good and the absence of God. @southpawvike17 Your argument holds little weight. You can't compare something as intangible as evil to atmospheric pressures! First, if God did not create evil, then clearly this God does not have a great amount of control over the world he created. That does not make it an omnipotent God at all. To the contrary, the God you describe seems extremely incompetent to me. Second, way to respect that not everyone believes like you! So everyone who doesn't believe like you is evil?
