I disagree with the mainstream view, as I believe it is a very clever deception/inception by satan to manipulate the Body and Bride of Christ as well as the whole world.

  • Applause to you! If I were your mother, I would just want to tell you how impressed I am with you and your studying is superb. I love how you get right to the point and back it up with scripture. Thank you for sending me this video. Hugs

  • @InformedTexasVoter LOL! okay.

  • @tinketteful As I said at that time in Jerusalem all Christians were of Jewish descent...that doesn't mean all of Jewish descent were Christian.

  • @tinketteful I guess I don't understand how that contradicts anything I said. The brethren received Paul and his visitors, the Jews in Asia stirred up all of Jerusalem.Do you think Israel after the flesh wasn't trying to upend Christianity? The Messianics already recognized that Judaism was lost without the Messiah, and that Jews separated from that were apostate. Israel after the flesh was trying to denounce the movement. They tried to kill Paul everywhere he went...

  • @InformedTexasVoter - no you didn't mention the Tarsus incident, I used it as an example to explain that Jews and Greeks did not worship together and Greeks aka gentiles were not allowed in the temple. The whole Tarsus incident almost got Paul killed.

  • @tinketteful This is your scripture passage, I never mentioned it. No, I was saying anything about it. What I was saying was that after Jesus was resurrected the "Church" /Christians of that time between 30 and 70 a.d. living in Jerusalem were Jewish. The church began as an offshoot of Judaism as viewed from world history.

  • @tinketteful I'd have to go back and listen, but I believe I said that Christians WERE entirely Jewish in Jerusalem at that time. Today we see "Christians" as mainly Gentiles but that wasn't the case in the beginning. I'm not sure what your point is about Paul. It's pretty clear in reading the NT, that Christians of Jerusalem struggled with the concept of allowing Gentiles as noted in Acts 15 and Peter and Paul's disagreement. That pretty much makes my point that they were by majority Jews.
