20,000 Letters: A rally in Tel Aviv in support of Israeli Conscientious Objectors

A rally was held in Tel Aviv opposite the offices of the defense ministry, in favour of releasing from jail conscientious objectors. The demonstrators brought with them thousands of letters signed by American supporters addressed to the Minister of Defense. Among those currently jailed for their beliefs is Wahat al-Salam / Neve Shalom village member Yuval Auron. Yuval's parents and several members and volunteers from Wahat al-Salam / Neve Shalom were at the rally.
