I've never owned a Wisconsin motor, mainly because my dad always told me they weren't that good.He told from his experience that they overheat quickly, and absolutely refuse to start when the temperature went below 50 degrees. I thought it was just him, but a few years ago when he had his auction, he had 5 wisconsin motors, all running up for bid, most of the crowd in the auction ring left to go have a smoke, and he didn't get much for them, so I don't know.

where can i find one?

I used Krylon spray paint and thought it turned out looking quite sharp. Can't remember the name of the colour though.

Thanks. Parts came from ebay and I had some spare parts lying around from other engines.

Did you put the electric starter on it? Of did it come with that.?

@mitchrenee
It came with it. Not to hard to switch over from crank start to electric if needed.

@MrBbgrump My assumption is originally a Massey Harris Baler, but when I purchased it is was running a rig for drilling water wells.

@Chevytough23 Oh, they sound nice. Got a nice hum, almost like a V8 engine.
