The Oakland Press interviews Greta and Phyllis

Co-authors of Wounded Trapped & Voiceless, Greta Emling and Phyllis K. Klenk, are interviewed along with Phyllis's husband Mike to share the story of Phyllis's journey through a 3-year coma and life since then. While doctors had declared Phyllis "unresponsive" and in a "vegetative state," her family and a close friend believed that she was "still in there." And, in fact, she was. Phyllis shares her amazing story of survival in the co-authored book Wounded Trapped & Voiceless.
