The end of Lethal Weapon 2 is very much like this episode of S&H, which was the very last....simply a revolutionary show, and my all-time favortite! Only this group of actors could've pulled it off...

It's the same song. David "Hutch" Soul had a hit with it in the 70's. I think that was the inside joke of Owen Wilson playing Hutch singing the same song in the remake movie.
