Awesome catch, David! I had some pretty good catches through the aurora-oval during solar minimum. This solar minimum was the lowest that has been observed since the advent of radio: As a result, the low part of HF-VLF has shown some propagation that can only be described as "unreal". I experienced some very good contacts on the 75m amateur band from my mobile; with many contacts over the pole, which is not normally possible -- let alone, from a mobile that is only 15% efficient! 73, good dxing

@kc8ntp hi that was not my reception it was a pal of mine ... if you check my other videos you will see my own reception of kbrw on a indoor flag ... cheers david

yes i agree while ken was receiving this i was only getting it at carrier level on the indoor flag but i have received much further distances than this on mw but the path to alaska is a really bad one even at the shorter distance thanks for watching.... david

alas this is not my reception i just had the carrier from it on the indoor flag the reception was made by my good freind ken as it says on the video .. many thanks for watching ... david .... scotland
