The Pan Chang is the "Queen" of Decorative knots and one of the Eight Buddhist Treasures. It is quite intricate to tie so I have included clear diagrams showing exactly how it is created. There are also full instructions and tips on how to learn to tie this knot. In Part Two, the companion video to this one, there are step-by-step photos and detailed instructions on tightening this knot.
