I feel for you, man. A lot of luck to you. I was 286lbs going into my senior football season in high school. I went down to 200 within about a year by exercising and drinking 1 to 2 gallons of water a day(dangerous at 2gal). I started running everywhere and I only ate while I was definitely hungry (stomach growling).
I hope you find what works for you. I subscribed. (I'm the guy that left a BET response under your BET video, by the way).

I do see my kid.. but seeing her and having her under my roof are two different things.. and I made a video because thats what I do. This is how I chose to motivate myself. and you ment to be cruel and rude you could have easily said that in a different tone. but you didnt. I hope things are good in ur life! =o)

In 2004 I went from being 224 down to 164. I'm back up to 209 and starting the process again. It's tough but do-able. Write down what you did so you know what works.
Stay off the "happy" meds. The less big pharma solutions you put in your body the better.
When I was going through a rough spot with my wife back in 2002 or so, the thing that got me through it was listening to Pink's Family Portrait and focusing on my little girl. I'm sorry you couldn't work it out ohdoctah.
Hey man, heartbreaking stuff. I just gotta tell you one thing from personal experience. Dont make the weight loss the be all and end all solution. You're trying to change for your daughter, and that's amazing, but for every pound lost try and set the goal to find a workable relationship with your ex. I wish you nothing but luck, health and success in this endeavour. Keep us posted man. PS Good tip for a guy your size to avoid doing damage to your knees n burnin fat : spinning classes (exerbikes)

there is no working with the ex. its just a waste of time. all I can do is do the best I can to be in my kids life. My daughter is more important then her mother. some people just dont work out but she will always be my kid.. thanks for taking the time to comment! means a lot.

I've lost 30 pounds in the past 4 months, with another 20 to go before running my first half-marathon in November. As cliche as it may sound, if I can do it, anyone can. You -will- do it.
How I'm doing it:
Weight training 1-2x per week
Running 3x-4x per week
TNT/South Beach Diet Principles
