@travelairhead I'm pretty sure that it isn't a reference to "the push" excatly, but more to his style. He's one of those dudes that makes us old farts want to go out and skate, because he's doing stuff the way we like: fast and in control of his board, something that a lot (NOT everyone) of the new kinds lack. Or at least that's what works for me.

I'm always seeing this same kinda qoute in mags,"he makes pushing look good", or "I'd rather watch this guy push down the street then see someone do a sketchy grind on a 20 stair", I'm all for seeing shit done right and all that but surely any professional skater can push and it's not like,"holy shit look at that push omg, that push was fuckin sick" it's just pushing.

this honestly is the most boring example of skateboarding that i've ever watched. granted i understand where everyone's coming from with the whole 'style and finesse' thing, but honestly, i'd rather watch someone with a sick style do something tight. like MJ for example, he keeps it stylish while doing sick ass tech tricks. i'm not hating on this vid, it just doesn't seem to fit in today's high levels of skateboarding
