The Twilight Zone (S4 E112) Original airdate: March 7, 1963

Paul Driscoll uses a time machine with the noble intention to go back in time and alter past events (in such a way as to minimize the loss of human life). After failing to warn a Hiroshima police captain about the atomic bomb, assassinate Adolf Hitler (in August, 1939 immediately before the outbreak of World War II in September, 1939), and change the course of the RMS Lusitania to avoid being torpedoed (by a World War I German U-boat), he accepts the hypothesis that the past cannot be changed..

(opening narration) Exit one Paul Driscoll, a creature of the 20th century. He puts to a test a complicated theorem of space-time continuum, but he goes a step further, or tries to. Shortly, he will seek out three moments of the past in a desperate attempt to alter the present-- one of the odd and fanciful functions in a shadowland known as... the Twilight Zone..

  • where is 1/6?

  • LOL, I love how he traveled back to Hiroshima five minutes before the bomb exploded. Yeah, that's enough time to evacuate people.

  • He is at least logical even if he posed as a lunitic, makes sense most there is to lose is shame, embarrasement and off course one degree, late to destination, and few hundred dollars in fuel. But if he is right thousands of dead bodies, and a court martialed capt for not heeding a far-fetched but possible warning.

  • @talkaboutwacky

He was in jail for 6 hours before he talked to the officer. That is enough time to save some people.

  • a man who mastered time travel could also pause it allowing people to evacuate and perform any task that was to humanitys advantage man what thought pervoking idea's Mr. Serling had.

  • @eroiwfjaldsfk its called a swastika

  • Hitler "Betrachten sie meinen Schunrrbart!!"

  • @lukatme2 rotflmao @ "you ignorant little monkey"

  • @lukatme2 I personally would have kept dropping them until every last man women and child was dead in all of Japan / Fuck em all

  • @thomasandtanga "we" did drop 2 bombs you ignorant little monkey. You say we like we were all in it together, mass murder. "We" did not drop anything on anyone. Your slave masters did it. They fed your grandparents fake, made up stories, just like the ones the current gov. feeds us, and used it as an opporntunity to do what they wanted. The brainwashing is so powerful that all these years later we think we are still right for having done it.

  • @eroiwfjaldsfk JUST LIKE GAYDOLF SHITLER'S BACKWARDS ASS
