My Nova Song- You Still Owe Me

This is a little song I wrote a couple minutes ago (another 3am song) that was inspired by My Chemical Romance and Nova's endlessly lame excuses for not helping me pay for my ticket back to Canada...

Here's the story:
I came to Japan in Aug to work for Nova and pay off some of my debt (had to go into more debt just to pay for my flight here) only to find that they went bankrupt before paying me for my first 2 months of work!

The new company that bought them out promised we'd all get rehired but then sent us notices telling us they werent going to hire us after all... (after spending 4 months jobless, acquiring more debt, waiting for Nova to reopen again cause they'd promised us our jobs back)

Now that I need to go back to Canada, I asked if I could take them up on their offer for financial assistance, and they refused to help me out saying that my request was made after the deadline... Argh!

To give you an idea of what kind of company Nova really is, check this out: One of my friends who still works at nova told me about Nova's new policy:
If you take ONE sick day off you're fired. They've always been like that with their employees, always keeping us in the dark, lying to us and treating us like dirt.

What a ridiculous company, I'm convinced its run by brainless monkeys... but then again, even brainless monkeys would have more heart than to leave people stranded in Japan with no food or money and offer no help!

To all you other angry/ jobless/ hungry/ stranded Nova teachers out there... Gambarimashou! Maybe we can find a way to get something back for what we've lost!

I wouldn't say they didn't give a damn because they thought you have to pay "Yen" to learn English but more and more people are figuring out that you can learn by exchange conversations via Skype, youtube, etc.  Hey look at India and Philippines. Do you see any mcSenseis going over there and teach mcEnglish?? Yeah they have heavy accents but so what??

Nice song! Sorry it ended with NOVA but are you still teaching Eikaiwa? How about teaching Eikaiwa in Montreal/Quebec(wink wink, sarcasm). I have many Persian(Iranian American) friends in LA. I care about the environment but wasn't it funny what happened in Hopenhagen? Did you hear all those delegates riding private planes, renting gas guzzling limos, etc. They can talk the talk but they can't seem to walk the walk. Al Gore is going "green" by making tons of MONEY!
