If it sounds bad ass don't funk with it. If you do it perfect your doing it just like thousands of other drummers. Make it your own. Trying to do everything proper is whats killing the new drummers. U can't be unique if your doing like everyone else. Make a point to not fall into that routine. Oh yea nice kit I played on crap when I was your age. Your lucky you will never have to put a cotex on the bass head. My how times have changed. Roll Tide
