Buskers Bern

Over three days in August the Swiss capital is the stage for international street musicians and performers. At the Buskers Bern festival visitors can experience a big variety of acts ranging from Swiss folklore to Gipsy Jazz, from traditional Taiwanese music to an English fakir show.

This was the best! Actually, the chilly, damp August weather was almost perfect for a street festival of this sort. Good beer drinking weather. Unfortunately for us, we had to leave quite early to make train connections, but it was great while it lasted.

Give me a break 'artists being used' listen to this feedback from Sheelanagig: "After 4 years and many, many festivals for Sheelanagig it was definitely the most fun and best organised we have ever done! We all agreed we have never been so well looked after and had such great audiences at any other festival, and we hope that you will consider inviting us back again in 2010".

You're not discussing, you're just frustrated. I'm in love with an artist, don't tell me how miserable your life is.

Frankly I don't care. One way or the other life goes on and events that healthy for the peoples hearts and minds is what will count in the long run. Artist themselves are always being used by capitalist who's gain is more for greed and not that of a cultural exchange. no further discussion!.

So in other words: Start a Music Festival, don't ask for entry and get rich on the cities' support for the festival?

I think there would be an easier way if money is the main interest.
