Go to: www.worldwar2treasure.com if you are interested in high adventure and want to participate in recovering World War 2 treasure. Massive looting as an extension of war is nothing new. The Japanese were serious, sober, and deliberate when they methodically and systematically looted thirteen Asian Countries during World War 2. They took treasure including precious diamonds and other gems, gold bullion, and solid gold Buddha's out of every hiding place. Much of this treasure did not make it back to Japan due to a World War 2 naval blockade of the Philippine islands by the United States, and has been recovered recently in underground hiding places. Widespread and systematic looting took place during World War 2 throughout Europe and Asia. For details, go to: www.worldwar2treasure.com

  • @rmrooster01 not until that japanese puffer fish kicks in lol

  • The footage is crazy - it's like finding out about your parents' secret life before you were a twinkle in their eyes.....I always wondered what these places looked like before they were fire bombed.

  • Amazing real films! And to think that my dad was in Okinawa in the fighting also! I never seen such REAL films! The camera men are so great and brave to show the real filming of it all! Super! Give the documentary of this video and many others four stars for us to see much of it that took place then! Americans came back to win and did not want to play ! I am glad i was born in America! Today, we just have too many weapons! Edmondo (etsonggalaxy)

  • About the battle of the phillipine sea, it was more than the plane construction, overall the japanese pilots facing the americans were no where near as well trained as the flyers that attacked pearl harbor. By this point in the war many of japan's best pilots had died in the grinding air battles over Guadalcanal and the solomon islands.

  • I can't believe how the japanese managed to suck so bad during this air battle.

Only 35 american planes lost in combat and another 80 because of fuel shortage. While the japanese lost around 500 planes in combat.

  • those airplace combat guys are fking heros they took out 426-500 but 36 americans did not make it back they died with pride and saved half of the war in saipan

  • @HaNsWiDjAjA I know this reply is WAY late, but here it is...

Japanese Zero's were wooden planes covered with canvas, while the American Hellcats were constructed from lightweight aluminum alloys with light armor plating. It meant that if the Zero was hit, it would get torn apart, while the Hellcat could take a beating, and still fly.

  • US planes with some armor plating were the deciding factors in Pacific war. After eliminating Japanese airforce and navy, the assault were made easier and Japan had lost its air cover
