Media Matters for America held a panel discussion on the growing culture of extremist, anti-government, and violent rhetoric in conservative media. Media Matters Senior Fellow Eric Boehlert, who has written extensively on the subject, hosted leaders from the Southern Poverty Law Center, America's Voice, NARAL Pro-Choice America, the National Council of La Raza, and the Leadership Conference on Civil Rights to examine how the mainstreaming of extremism impacts our security, politics, and culture.

  • I'm not sure about what the group speaking here is like in real life, but you can bet they are not the working poor! funny how the rich always seem to know what the rest of us need to hear and think, who are they talking to? only 486 views in 12 months?

  • Capital punishment... Genocide, Murder, Car accidents, Prison, War

there are a lot of things more violent...

  • Being set on fire, machine gunned in the guts, being torn limb from limb by predators, crushed to death, mangled in machinery, or being cut into little pieces, starting with the toes or fingers and ending with the head.

  • I think we can all agree that we need human sacrifices to satiate the zoogs, so we might as well just use abortion fetuses. Better than killing actual thinking human beings, right?

  • Imagine what is more violent that an abortion.

  • If a microphone can't be provided to those asking questions, the moderator should repeat or summarize the question for the video audience. That said, I'd like to thank MMA, again, for an excellent presentation. I'd also like to recommend an excellent report from Public Eye, which can be easily found on the web.

  • I wish the questions were subtitled or transcribed in the sidebar.
