長谷寺×渡辺五大

＊渡辺五大が、経蔵全体を赤銅色のアルミ箔で覆い尽くします。会期中、アルミ箔を貼る作業を来山者参加型で実施します。

Hasedera Temple × Watanabe Godai

This is a unique collaborative art experiment by six artists who have conceptual modern art technique in five well-known old temples.
Each artist tries to create art with getting inspiration from the magnificent spiritual power of the temples.
You will be able to feel fresh energy of 'the battle' between the modern art and the temples' beauty.
We hope this project will be accepted as a new suggestion to promote artistic Japanese mind for next generation.
