@ktrin098765 in jamaica our fabric is usually 60 inches width for a skirt tat short u dnt need 1 1/2 yrds u need less... because the width is constant ( 60 inches which is more than time and a half ur hip measurement -39 inches) thus u jus need to buy the amount in yards tat will give u d length ..eg 1/2 yrd is 18 inches.. so ur skirt eud be abt 16 inches long .. hope tis helps.
