Sophie B. Hawkins - California Here I Come live

Sophie B. playing on 11-19-06 at Club Helsinki in Great Barrington, MA. I saw her a few days before for the first time ever at Club Felt in Boston and I was so amazed at her performance. She blew me away that night and I decided I wanted to see her again. I was lucky to be right in front of her both nights too. After the show, she so graciously hung out and signed autographs and chatted with her fans. I'm so happy she's still making music. Had I not stumbled on her myspace page, www.myspace.com/sophiebhawkins, I would have missed these shows. She's got a double CD out called the Bad Kitty Board Mix. It's a raw mix of her live and it's phenomenal. Her website, www.sophiebhawkins.com, has more info about it. Apparently, it was recorded without the intention of ever being a CD but after her management heard it, they suggested to her she release it. I highly recommend it. I only got this CD about a month ago and when I listened to it, I knew exactly what I was to expect seeing her live and it got me all psyched for the show.
