  • I've spent sometime trying to figure out how to make an fully functioning emeter with an ohm meter and parts from radio shack. I think I have all the parts I need (bread board, transistors, resistors, amps) but I don't know enough about electronics to put it together. If you know anyone who has a degree in electronics - ask them how to put it together with an ohm meter and breadboard. I'm inclined to work on it, but I've got other projects at this time.

  • you can have the best quality very sensitive e-meter for 49$.

Just buy digital multimeter with computer interface. Usually software is provided with the device, but I will write my own software , I can make it auto detect charge, auto calibrate, and much more... all I need is an accurate numbers and numbers from digital will be very accurate up to 0.1 Ohm.

  • add voltage amplifiers , op amp makes it easy.

  • ur aaaaawesome dood. been lookin for this all afternoon. cheers. so its an ohm meter? so thats essentially what all lie detectors are?? couldn't u build one with just a dial n a bunch of transistors n knobs to turn that make the dial more sensitive?? surely it wouldn't be that hard??

there's a couple of sites i've found that show what the inside of the e meter are, maybe u should pull urs appart n build one from scrap parts n show us how to do it =D
