Im from Rockport TX. Small town as well. I joined the marines and never will move back there. the point of this is that the people that never leave always wish that they had, and the ones who do dont ever regret it

I recently (temporarily) moved from NY to a tiny town in Oregon. And I was introduced to Steve Earle's music about the same time that I learned how to throw a rope and discovered what chicken fried steak tasted like. I think no matter where you're from the tunes are relateable. It's all about finding that place that fits you well. Big or small. I move every few months for work so I'm always on the run now.
