Jim Gibson from http://www.CableSupply.com explains how to punch down an RJ45 Keystone Jack using the Impact Tool, or punchdown tool. This tool punches cable wire into the jack's 110 connectors, establishing contact for the transfer of data. It cuts the excess off at the same time that it punches so you don't have to manually cut it off yourself, saving you time and giving a cleaner installation.

Don't want to buy an impact tool? Check out the video for the toolless RJ45 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y4mhPRKpwIU
