I put this together 2 years ago with my friend Justin "Lee Kid" Lee, i had just learned how to drag mp3s into Garageband and cut them up. I am a huge fan of Yacht Rock music like Steely Dan and The Doobies, so when it came time to sample something, i grabbed my favorite Doobies Tune, cut it up, worked with justin and we made a great song about our town Sea Cliff.
Recently i discovered MF Doom made a similar song out of What a Fool Believes called He Came From. When i found it, i was suprised to see someone had made basically the same beat i had 2 years prior. I left a comment but got a bunch of non believing responses... so here it is for all the haters.....the original "He Came From" By Me, Gordon Kenny (aka purpleman).
