This man clearly doesn't know how to discipline his wife. First, you start off with a good beating. Then you sit her down her down and talk to her, as you would a child, about the things she did wrong and what you expect of her if she doesn't want to get beaten again.

I'd have to admit that incidents shown in some adverbs or PSAs can be an exaggeration.  However, they can also be reality when the abuse pattern hit the "boiling point" where any mistake by a person is blameable. This is not an exception. I doubt a woman would get beaten like that because of burnt food or messy house. DV statistics are hard to obtain since many cases, especially women abusing men, aren't reported. Violence is one of many ways of abuse, and women are just as guity as men
