@michaelfivez When you simplify it, it is 1/1, or 1. Not 0. Your example has (x-3)/(x-3), which is 1.

If you do 10/20, you can simplify it to 1/2, does that mean that '10/20' doesn't exist?

@michaelfivez no, it is not 0/0. You simplify before you take any limits. Bad practices in mathematics doesn't make them truths.

Like: lim(x->3) ((x-3)/(x-3))
This is 0/0 but it still equals 1.
