Dude, this is a FRAUD! There is nothing special about this recording. It's the regular version of Foxy Lady, Which was recorded in Stereo (Vocals are in the left speaker), where the vocals have been optimized (minimizing the background music). It's just a crudely isolated vocal track. If it were recorded in the booth, the bleed from the headphones would not be nearly as loud and you wouldn't hear the backing "Foxy" vocal line. Shenanigans!

The audio has been in my family for some time. I first heard it about 10 years ago. I thought... what's this, a bad recording of Jimi? That was until I heard him start singing... and then I heard everything and freaked. I couldn't believe what I had discovered. I played it for a few friends and we all laughed and soon forgot about it. I re-discovered it last week and decided to put together some photos and send it to the world to catch a truley rare glimps into Jimi's world. Pretty cool eh?
