  • Live long enough...you will miss someone or some thing.

Loss and gain, definitely part and parcel to existence.

Is she really worth begging for? Look in the mirror and ask how you treated her. If you treated her well -- then don't beg, let that bird fly free -- and don't look back (or up -- in proximity to that bird).

If you wronged her, come strong to the table of atonement. That is this song. Growth of the man...such that he finally realizes a better measure of self and therefore -- love.

  • I dedicate this song to my husband Allen 9/14/73 ~ 6/17/09 and My son Andrew 11/30/94 ~ 11/01/10 I miss the both of you sooo much may you R.I.P love you, save a spot for me...

  • Girl of my life and i screwed it up.... Didnt had her long but i knew it was the one. Expert in driving my head crazy but i wouldnt take it out on her, i went to bars bashed people up, attacked people with knife's and shit, got busted. Now she's scared of me...fucking things up is my profession.

  • it is one of best songs of all times

  • I still love this song.

  • I love this song, and I really miss Harold Melvin and Teddy Pendergrass. This is one of the greatest R&B Groups of all time. They never got the credit that they deserved. I grew up listening to their music in the 70s. I wish I could go back to that time just for the music. I never knew I was living in the greatest era of music. Decades later, I realize it now, and I wished that I had cherished that time more.

  • @BluFlowWay Well said my friend, well said.

  • How could anyone not enjoy this...poor lonely 5 ppl.

  • These negros today couldn't make music like this today if they tried.
