Merlin 02.12 The Fires of Idirsholas [Official BBC preview]

When the Fires of Idirsholas burn for the first time in three hundred years, Gaius fears a sorcerer has revived the deadly Knights of Medhir. And he's right; Morgause has returned, hell-bent on ending Uther's reign. Arthur and Merlin face the Knights, and barely escape with their lives.
Upon returning home, they find everyone in a deep, unnatural sleep - all except for Morgana. Could she be behind the sleeping spell affecting the kingdom? As Morgause and her Knights attack a helpless Camelot, Merlin's loyalties are stretched to the limit.

those riders of idirsholas remind me of the nazgül of Lord of the rings... TOtally creepy!! There are really similair! The dark close! The dark horses and the fact there are faceless! Creeppy! And by the way Guinevere reminds me of Sleepy beauty at 0:10 somehow! don't know!

I totally agree. It annoyed me we didn't see Gwen's reaction. We could have had a nice ArWen scene with Arthur hugging and comforting Gwen. Uhhhhh SO UNFAIR.

what seriously pissed me of in this episode that whe didn't see that much of Dynamic of Gwen/Morgana. I freakin LOVE their friendship even though that they have grown a bit apart S2E3. Morgana is gone and whe don't get to see how Guinevere reacts. TOTALLY UNFAIR. I immediately saw their friendship in Season 1! i can't believe that they ignore such an important friendship. Besides their friendship was before that whole Merthur thing.

this episode was very exciting!!

although i would've liked more scenes between arthur and gwen...there was just one! but Merlin/Arthur scenes were really good!
