This railtour marked the start of using the new platforms at Birmingham Moor Street.

The video starts with PT No. 9600 hauling the ECS into the station with Castle Class No 5043 Earl of Mount Edgcumbe at the rear.

The next scene shows the railtour leaving the station bound for London Paddington.

  • Nice one. Are you on top of the Bullring car park?

P.S. Have they finished building the Birmingham Post Office tower yet? It was only half way up last time I saw it. (This is an oft repeated Londoner's joke)

  • KINGANDCASTLE

The location is the multi storey car park off Park Street.

    Regards,

    John

  • Very nice video, great location! Well filmed especially the Pannier arriving because it was very dark. Thumbs up!
