If you listened to the whole CD "Bluisiana" you would hear the genius is these musicians. My father Frank Melrose(deceased) is on piano, he also wrote some of the songs. There are also some other greats on this download.

if there were objective constants to any art form, there would be complete stagnation. if that's what you're going for then that's great. quit putting other people down and post some of your own vids of your own music and show us some of these "merits".

Reducing the music of rjrillo to a mere elevator shows that YOU clearly don't get it.(and that's ok too) You have exposed your ignorance regarding the objective constants in music thus nullifying your opinion altogether. What do you know about rjrillo? What if you were to find he was in fact eminently qualified to make whatever comment he so chooses because he's a genius? If you live in Chicago, you know this to be true. You also would know that the Chicago jazz establishment has conspired to elevate the jive and bury the truth. An inability to master harmony, rhythm and melody is a deficiancy not a mark of genius, no matter what Howard Reich says.
