@arescraft - it's not ghetto...this is just the way that developing China looks. It's a perfectly normal and safe street in China, but in America.....yeah....not so safe. Just got back from six months in Lanzhou and never felt unsafe in all the crazy places I went

@lukebccb It's used in the sense the area is poor. Also, if you knew Gansu and its past history, you would know the word Ghetto in its formal meaning applies. So...why don't you go back to the troll hole you crawled out of and find something to do. Go to the bathroom and shove a plunger up your ass.
