@qigong1001 the time line. Part way through you should activate the second mask for the highlights. And that means stretching the mask over the highlight to expose the streaks. I'm sure there is a better way of doing this, like some "real time" effect, which Anime has, but unfortunately doesn't work with the pencil. Only for masks,shapes and layers.

@MRjonbo1964 I may have got it now. Draw the bear completely using the pencil, but with one of the brush tool options (dots) under the Style box. The bear should be drawn in at least two group layers. One group with outline and basic features. The second group with highlights. Each group should have a masking layer (so enable masking in group). Keep the mask invisible. So you are basically drawing with the mask now. Instead of just moving the mask, stretch its anchor points as you go down...
