EDIT: Alright, since a lot of people have asked, the last sprite is Fa from Fire Emblem 6. I put her in this because it went with the music, I was running out of sprites whose animations didn't look terrible in the format, and I wanted to do a cameo. However, if it is bothering people so much, I'll change the video.

It isn't through hacking, if you complete the Tower of Valni and the Lagdou Ruins multiple times you periodically unlock secret characters. Can only be done after the main storyline is complete. You can even unlock Lyon! :)
