Looks like the body was repaired there. Our body shop doesn't try very hard to match colors either.

This bus should be retiring from service soon. In my area, the school board keeps the buses in service for 15 years. Then they are either put up for sale or used as activity buses.

For a 1993 this bus is in great shape. Whats with the brighter yellow just behind (and below) the driver's Window

Thanks. I'm not sure about the brighter yellow around the battery box and near the drivers window. I was wondering the same thing. This is the first time I've seen this. Very odd.
