Actually Dayton Family came out BEFORE TA did. The album "What's On My Mind" was actually their first FULL length album. Their original EP had like 6 songs and came out 2 years prior

Man let me school these kids here. This song is by Top Authority. My boy had the "tape" when it came out. Yeah it was on tape with that exact cover. Dayton Family was totally diff group. However the sound was similar. I liked them both. In my spot they played more Dayton Family on the radio. I guess they had more clean versions to play on radio. But either way they both went hard.
