"If my cunt kids didn't love me back I'd do alot more than lock them in a cellar Matt." <-- How that would've changed things.

Corner a Christian with incontrovertible evidence of the irrationality and barbarism of their religion and they instantly cease thinking at all in order to avoid the facts.

People always hem and haw..."I can't judge you but God does". Yet YOU BELIEVE this to be so and can't articulate it??? Why is that? This "but, but, but" , in regard to the idea of Hell is the human nature struggle to this barbaric, immoral and insane belief.
Punishment for a BELIEF? Immorailty says my NATURAL ethics.

@bastardoftheparty1 Also billions have not been spent on just the search for life. You can not take the whole NASA budget and pretend it was all for that one goal.
Also they have found the building block for life in Meteorites. Non of that came from Earth. They have also detected what may be organic material coming from Europa. It seems it may have whole oceans under its ice. That water has a good chance of supporting life.
-
@bastardoftheparty1 All I said was that we have just about created life, not that we have. It all depends on how you are defining life, and what would satisfy you for having created it.
If you are demanding that something just poofs into exsistence and wont accept any less then your opinion doesn't really matter.
There are many things that have been done that bring us close to creating living organisms designed by us, and not nature.
Deny it all you like, but they are on the way.

@Silentsam7532 No sir, not even close to having CREATED life. If you can't see the significance that's fine, but understand that you are in the minority. NASA, and the scientific community in general, understands this, that's the reason why billions of dollars have been spent thus far searching for life on other planets. I see that this is lost on you so I won't continue to bore you with my responses. Peace.

@bastardoftheparty1 It is an arbitrary thing to say which discoveries are the most important. To me creating life is interesting, but it is just biology. I care more about the nature of reality.
Christians are against those things for their own various reasons. Their reasons don't matter though. They hurt man kind by trying to hold back our understanding.
I think it is funny that Christians would put so much in the creating of life. We have just about done it already.
-
@Silentsam7532 Are you kidding? There has never been any discovery that would trump the ability to create life. Don't you get the magnitude of such a leap? Creating life from nothing would change our understanding about God. Why do you think Christians are against cloning, stem cell research, and the like? Creating life would be the final nail in the coffin of Christianity. The Catholic Church has battled scientific discovery since Newton and the clan because it threatens their hold on ppl.
10 people are rocking back and forth in the corner of their room, murmuring Bible verses to themselves in a desperate attempt to salvage their shattered psyche.

Wow Exodus 31 : 12 - 15 Just horrifies me. I don't understand how people can ignore such things in the bible.
