With a show business career that has spanned more than 50 years, Fabares made her mark in the '50's on the Donna Reed Show, in the '60's co-starring with Elvis on the big screen, in the '70's as a member of the cast of Mary Hartman, and in the '80's & '90's on the TV series One Day at a Time & Coach. Despite her success her life has not been without its challenges. Fabares received a life-saving liver transplant in the fall of 2000, and has worked tirelessly for the Alzheimer's Association following her mother's battle with the dreaded disease. On this episode of "InnerVIEWS with Ernie Manouse," our conversation with American actress and singer, Shelley Fabares.

  • Wow, Shelley Fabares, you are so beautiful! I love love love your hair, I got it right away! Go! Thanks you for sharing that story with your mother, very sweet. You make everything brighter! Love love love!

  • OMG! Who did her hair for this appearance? Cyndi Lauper with help from Stevie Wonder?

  • c'mon shelly, get your hair back to normal and not like your head blew up in a bubble gum factory! you're too good looking to screw up your noggin' with that disaster.

  • Time is so cruel...but she is still beautiful.

  • You said it brother, I to saw her on the Donna Reed show and I fell for her in a heart beat. Also shows my age.

  • I always adored Shelley Fabares in her work. How nice to find she is such a sensitive, honest human being too. I hope she still has many years of continued good health after having had such a major transplant.

  • @gymnastix Throw away the Psyche texts. Shelley is just fine, imo. That said, she might have drank a bit much, at one point in her life

  • @MrRightwingextreme ME TOO. I'm single and I'd likely marry her in a heartbeat. God would have to do the rest

  • This America, used to be what was class in a lady.
