Four Super Bowls, four premerg NFL championships, Two NBA Champs, four Stanley Cups, thirty four MLB World Series, 40 AL Pennants, twenty-one NL Pennants. That's 48 times NYC has had a National Title in a particular sport. Those are the facts. Oh, I left out one Dodger World Series since they were named after a borough, even they were within NYC borders.

the point of it being "titletown" is that we got our "title" from the packers. without the packers, green bay would be just any other city in wisconsin.
chicago is known for too many things to be title town.
sorry, better luck finding a different title to your name.

CHICAGO IS MOST DEFINITELY TITLETOWN they have 6 basketball ship plus MJ, the most recongnized baseball team in the cubs, the whitesox who won 3 ships, the bears who got the 2nd most championships behind green bay plus one of the best teams the 85 bears, the history of the blackhawks championships plus might i add chicago is a sports city with some of the best loyal fans......I think that covers all the bases in every sport
