I saw somewhere that beck has a connection with some company that pushes gold... the gold is collectors gold though and not bullion so it will devalue. So this vid makes perfect sense if all that is true.

Talk about sloppy history and sloppy economics -- this video is the sloppiest of them all, and if you give Glenn Beck the benefit of the doubt you can just pass it off as sheer ignorance; but I don't think that the producers and editors at Fox News are that stupid, so I chalk it up to willful distortion. Beck conflates the Great Society with Nixon's floating the exchange rate; he confuses the Gold Standard with the Gold reserve system; and he doesn't mention Reagan's tax cut and spending boom.

No, all those bail outs were approved and put into motion while Bush was president. Remember that the President is a puppet, it's his back pocket friends in the senate etc... that he conspires with that's the problem. Zeitgeist motions to give the gov back to the people the way our founding fathers originally intended it to be. In fact, Thomas Jefferson is mentioned in this vid, which has nothing to do w/the Zeitgeist vids, just mentioning the similar points.
