He believed in keeping ones faith in Jesus Christ as simple as Jesus intended it to be - no membership cards to attend regularly; no sales pitches in trying to get people into a church building for big money, etc., and he referred to the people who were regular attendees of the Vineyard as "the walking wounded". We are calling the video series "Jesus Wants His Church Back-Still" in honor of what the desire of John Wimber's heart was - a simple command from the Father to let people know what Jesus wanted to use this new type of radical, passionate believer to be - those gathering to worship and follow Him - no more big, organized churches with strictly structured services. Just the simple meeting together often to worship Jesus Christ together as family and to learn how to do the works the Lord told us we should be about doing for the Kingdom of God. The video clips posted will, hopefully, show you how the One True God of the universe, the Creator of all mankind, works supernaturally to enlighten the Christian to the fact that it should be "normal" for every believer to move in all the gifts of the Holy Spirit for edification, both personally and in the lives of all who belong to Him, and to know Him intimately.
