******Thanks for all of the comments!!!******I had my daughter's hair pressed for her first week of school. She cried most of the time until I sat & held her.

Lovely! How were you able to get so close to her edges without burning her or causing her to jump from the heat? I'm curious because I'm wanting to do my daughters hair but I'm afraid it will be a waste of time because she's not going to let me get that close to her forehead, ears, etc.
